NatWest Chester and Mason Media raise over £2000 for Claire House

NatWest’s Commercial team in Chester and PR agency Mason Media have raised more than £2000 for local charity Claire House at a Christmas Afternoon Tea held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester.

The festive event was held on Wednesday 30th November and was attended by over 100 guests.

Mulled wine was served on arrival and guests took their seats to be serenaded with Christmas carols sung by the choir at Abbeygate College.

This was followed by a sumptuous ‘Christmas themed’ afternoon tea.

During the afternoon there was an opportunity to browse quality stalls with many fantastic raffle prizes also up for grabs.

Denise Hignett, NatWest’s Relationship Manager for the Education & Not for Profit Sector, said: “We are delighted to have raised more than £2000 for such a deserving charity as Claire House.

“For a long while we had been wanting to organise an event with key stakeholders across the City to support Claire House and, together with Mason Media, we were pleased to make this happen.

“Claire House carry out such amazing work for children and their families across the North West and we are proud to support them.”

Sarah Lowe, PR & Marketing Manager at Mason Media, said: “This was a special event organised to raise money for a very worthy charity and we were so pleased to be involved.

“We’d like to thank everyone that attended the event, our brilliant stallholders, Chester’s Crowne Plaza Hotel and the fantastic Abbeygate College choir.”
