Our Work: Barnston Estate
Mason Media is the marketing communications partner for Barnston Estate in Cheshire, a private estate consisting of 1800 acres and which can trace its origins back to the days of the Norman Conquest.
It comprises a wide range of residential and commercial properties, dairy farming, forestry and renewable energy options. The Estate provides housing and indirect employment for around 200 people.
Mason Media was asked to create a new strong brand identity for the Estate which could be displayed at various strategic points around the Estate.
Working closely with Estate Manager Edward Barnston and his wife Kate, we embarked on a detailed branding project from initial mood boards and concepts through to final branding.
Once the branding had been agreed, we then developed a new website which showcases the extent of the Estate’s work and its aspirations for the future – www.barnstonestate.com
One of the highlights of the new website was new photography and a corporate film setting out Edward’s long-term vision for the Estate.
Mason Media is also responsible for the Estate’s PR, blogging and social media content. News stories have included the launch of the Estate’s plans for a Natural Burial Ground. Monument Meadow Natural Burial Ground, which opens in 2021, will be the first to be developed by an estate in Cheshire.
Barnston Estate ended 2020 with the great news that its work had been recognised with a shortlisting for a prestigious Rural Business Award, held in partnership with Amazon.
