We were responsible for Hurricane’s marketing and communications.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
We worked with Hurricane Commerce for four years developing and leading on this private equity-backed tech business’s marketing and communication strategy.
During this time, the business won a number of international customers who adopted Hurricane’s AI-driven, real-time data solutions to enable seamless cross-border eCommerce.
The company’s technology was created to meet the challenges posed by various regulatory events including Brexit, the launch of the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop and the greater enforcement of the US STOP Act.
Initial work concerned developing a marketing strategy to support the business’s product and sales roadmap along with building a new website and creating a suite of sales assets including company brochure and various product literature.
Further attention was given to the company’s social media activity with a focus on generating regular, relevant content for LinkedIn and growing the number of followers and engagement levels. We also led on the development of the company’s WeChat strategy to drive engagement with customers in China.
The Mason team was also responsible for the delivery of Hurricane’s global PR with a particular focus on trade media for the logistics, parcel and postal, retail and eCommerce sectors. Coverage included:

We also led on various customer joint marketing initiatives and were responsible for the organisation of several high-profile sector conferences and expos in the US, UAE, Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK.
Another area of focus was entering the business for various industry awards – a highlight being its success in being named Supplier of the Year at the Parcel & Post Technology International Awards 2021 in Frankfurt.
